Some say; “oh I/you don’t find a partner because I’m/you’re to choosey”, and being choosey in this relation has clearly a negative meaning to them. But why on earth would anyone think that looking for the best in life can be negative in any way? Beats me!
If you go shopping for say clothes, would you grab a shirt or a dress of a color you don’t like and a size that doesn’t fit? No of course not, you would find a garment with a color and a cut that compliments and emphasizes your looks. We all want to look our best!
And if you were to look for a new car, would you choose one that felt unsafe and uncomfortable to drive? Again, of course not! You would look for something comfortable and safe. And; if you went out for a meal would you ask the waiter to bring you anything? My guess is no! You would ask for something you’d like and you would enjoy eating!
Why would anyone want to settle for less when it comes to a partner? Why would anyone mean that others should settle for less?
I say being choosey is what we all should be in every single way of our lives; it is most certainly not a negative thing. It is the most sincere and positive thing you can be for yourself! We should always seek the best for ourselves.
